FAQs Quote

How long does the photo session last?

Between 60-90 minutes depending on group size.

Are you prepared to travel long distances for a session?

Generally not, as I like clients to come to special portrait photography locations that I know close to central Bath. However, special requests will be considered but they may incur additional travel expenses. Most of my clients are located in Bath, Bristol, BANES, Somerset, Wiltshire, and Gloucestershire.

What should we wear for our photo session?

Simple classic clothes work well. Try and co-ordinate what you wear, but remember it’s your photo session so the choice is yours. Having said that, please don’t wear white or large white patterns, and try to avoid large logos. Strong colours, pastels, little patterns and stripes work well, and I have found that having parents wear darker clothing than children works very well, delivering a great end result.

Is there anything I should bring to help make the photo session special?

Yes. If you have favourite accessories such as hats, gloves, scarves, umbrellas, sunglasses, or if your children have special toys or pets (please confirm first) this helps add personal character to your photos.

What happens if it’s raining on the day of my outdoor session?

Every effort will be made to stage the shoot, however if the weather means it’s a no go, then we will reschedule for another time.

Where are the photo shoot locations?

I have some stunning and very popular outdoor locations in and around Bath that have worked really well for family, couples and kids photography sessions with other clients. However, if you have a particular local place that you would like to use, we can discuss it and find the best fit for you.

What if I need to postpone or cancel the photo shoot?

Any postponement must be agreed between you and I at least 24 hours prior to the shoot, failure to do so will result in the loss of the sitting fee and the requirement of £95 for a new booked sitting. Cancellations result in a loss of the £95 sitting fee already paid upon booking. Please see our complete terms and conditions.

How do I view and order my photographs?

Your collection will be made available for you to view online via a password protected private viewing area on this site for an agreed 4 day window that’s good for you. The online system will guide you through the simple order and payment process, ensuring you can easily order your favourite images in your desired colours and sizes.

When do I pay?

You pay your sitting fee at the time of booking, either via bank deposit or by sending a cheque payable to ‘Estienne Photography.’ Your options are the same for the photographs you choose having placed your order after the online viewing.

Can I order my images digitally on a disk?

Yes, please see my price list for package options.

How are my photographs presented?

Each ordered photograph comes beautifully mounted with a cream board in standard sizes, neatly wrapped in cellophane, ready to be framed if you so wish. You can also have each print hand signed by me on the mount if you desire. I also offer a very competitively priced framing service.

When do I need to book by for Christmas gift photographs?

Please book as early as possible as it’s a very popular time. Your photo shoot would need to have taken place by mid November to receive your images before Christmas.
